Coppell Volleyball closed out its pre-district schedule with a 3-1 win over Reedy on Sept. 4 at Reedy High School in Frisco.

The Cowgirls won a pair of tight opening sets around a narrow second-set loss, taking the match 25-23, 25-27, 25-23 and 25-20.
Brooke Felix led Coppell with 19 kills and 12 digs, while Finley Penniman added 14 kills and five blocks. Taylor Mechsner finished with 11 kills and four blocks.

Zoey Ponsen directed the offense with 46 assists and 16 digs, while Taliah Ellis added four blocks at the net.

The win moves Coppell to 11-6 as the Cowgirls head into district play.
At the subvarsity level, JV earned a 2-0 win with set scores of 25-15 and 25-22. The 9A team fell 2-1, 22-25, 25-19, and 19-25.
